Whether you are looking for a school, office building, church, industrial facility, renovation, or any other building project, the US Green Building Council's LEED Certification process has a system for you.
Sustainability can go beyond energy consumption and water conservation. Sustainability reaches deep into our health, communities, and even to the heart of businesses. The US Green Building Council established the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Program to recognize those who make an effort to give back through sustainable design.
LEED Certification is based on credit points earned. Four Certification levels are available: Certified, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Credits are divided into categories, depending on various sustainable techniques and strategies.
LEED CREDIT CATEGORIES:
LOCATION AND TRANSPORTATION
ENERGY AND ATMOSPHERE
MATERIALS AND RESOURCES
INDOOR ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY
TSG worked with Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative to earn a LEED Gold Certification on their new Operations Center in Seguin. GVEC initially requested a LEED Certified rating, but through the dedication and creativity of the design team, a higher rating was achieved.
